A mighty peak, the 8th highest in Ireland and the 2nd most prominent. The highest peak of the Dingle Peninsula attracts bad weather due to its isolation and height, so the view from it is somewhat a matter of luck. The ascent can be made from both the west and the east, in both cases starting almost from sea level, resulting in an elevation gain of about 900 m.
