Griesmauerkogel is part of challenge: King of the Eastern Alps (Hochschwab, Rax, Schneeberg, Murzsteg, Cetic)

It is probably the sharpest two-thousander of Hochschwab. There is no hiking trail here; it is necessary to cross the sharp ridge of Griesmauer. This is already a climbing tour.
