Ebenstein is part of challenge: King of the Eastern Alps (Hochschwab, Rax, Schneeberg, Murzsteg, Cetic)

One of the most significant peaks of the Hochschwab mountain range. Accessible only from one side from the southwest, otherwise there are deep cliffs around. There are three summits: the main one with a small cross, a secondary one with a large cross, and the middle one with a weather station. In winter, it offers opportunities for ski touring. The final section includes a steel cable, the simplest version of a via ferrata.
