Kaní is part of challenges: Crown of the Moravian-Silesian Beskids, Highest Peaks of the Moravian-Silesian Beskids
Kaní is a 678 m.a.s.l. hill on the northern edge of Rožnov in the local part of Horní Pasek. A blue hiking trail leads over the relatively sharp wooded summit from Pindula to Radhošť via Velká polana, which is part of the long-distance route E3. From the north, it is bypassed by the so-called Sašina path, and from the south, the Kání stream flows along Jarní street in Horní Paseky. There is also a small chapel on that street. On the western side, a notable 220kV power line is present, and further west, at the foot of this hill, there is an unfinished building from the 1990s. It was intended to be a spa, but the construction is in such a state that it will likely never be completed. It stands on the site of the original hotel Rudý říjen, colloquially nicknamed Stalinka. A little beyond it, there is a spring NP 536 in a meadow, which was declared a healing source by law in 1996.
