The highest mountain of the Gutenstein Alps. It lies between Lilienfeld, Hohenberg, and Kleinzell in the district of Lilienfeld in the Lower Austria region.

It is located in the massif of the same name on the western edge of the mountain range. The mountain is a popular destination for hikers in summer and for ski mountaineers in winter (low avalanche risk).

Near the summit stands a statue of the Madonna, a recently built summit cross, and the Reisalpen-Schutzhaus mountain hut, which opened on October 9, 1898. Below the summit, there is also a small hut of the Austrian army.
