The Snow Leopard is an internationally recognized award still in use, originating from the days of the Soviet Union. It is awarded to climbers who summit all five seven-thousanders in the territory of the former USSR. These ascents are not easy, just as it is not easy to spot the elusive predator – the snow leopard. So far, nearly 700 climbers have received this "award", including just under 50 women. [b]4 of them were Czechoslovakians.[/b>
