A small and simple self-catering hut located on a ridge at Rotbrättlücke between Schwarzmönch and Silberhorn, high above Lauterbrunnental. The access trail is long, partially exposed, and alpine in character, and can only be traversed in dry conditions. Ascents to Jungfrau are a challenging high-altitude adventure. The view from this extraordinary hut deep into the valley is stunning. This self-catering hut offers 12 places and is well-equipped: wood stove, pans, dishes (even a colander for spaghetti), firewood, axe, electric light, blankets (!) and drinks (mineral water, wine) are available for guests.
Reservations with the hut manager Bernhard Seiler are mandatory!
