Marco e Rosa Hut is the highest accommodation in Lombardy, a modern and recently built hut with careful management; a gem set among glaciers at an altitude of 3600 meters, a sought-after destination for all climbers and a base for Mount Bernina.
Open in spring for the ski season, it offers its guests several services, including a satellite internet station, the highest in Lombardy!
In winter, it is open sporadically, usually only on weekends. Spacious, but cold and unfurnished winter room.
The hut stands on a rocky ridge west of Fuorcla Crast'Agüzza. Exceptional altitude and corresponding views. Property of CAI, Sezione Valtellinese. Built in 1913. New hut built in summer 2002, 60 beds.
