A prominent limestone rock promontory above the valley of the Budňanský stream, on which the most famous castle in the Czech Republic was built. At the highest point, there is the Great Tower with the famous Chapel of the Holy Cross, adorned with paintings by Master Theodorik. Access to this chapel is conditioned by a reservation and prior booking.
