Irish Cnoc Daod. The highest mountain in the Caha Mountains and the entire Beara Peninsula. The massive, sprawling summit drops steeply to the east with rocky slopes leading down to the lakes Coomadayallig and Coomarkane, while the other sides are gentler, especially from the north. The summit itself features a vast plateau, occasionally marshy. The ascent is not difficult, and there is even a path leading to the top, which is unusual for the area.
