The easternmost peak of Austria. On its top platform is a 22 m high wooden lookout tower, adjacent to which since 1958 has been the SIGINT station of the Austrian Ministry of Defense. There are several hiking trails leading to the top, some of which go through animal (some say danielia, others diviačia) field - a ladder is installed over the fence. The ruins of Pottenburg Castle are located on the northern slope of the mountain within the fenced nature reserve. It is not recommended to use the hiking trails through the field between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., or in the months of May-August from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. From the village of Berg, there is initially an asphalt road, later a forest road with a reinforced surface, which is also suitable for strollers (I noticed a sign prohibiting the entry of cyclists on this road, while the same signs are also in the field).
