The easternmost peak of Austria. On its summit plateau, there is a 22 m high wooden lookout tower, next to which is a SIGINT station of the Austrian Ministry of Defense established in 1958. Several hiking trails lead to the summit, some of which pass through an animal reserve (some claim it is a fallow deer reserve, others a wild boar reserve) - a ladder is installed over the fence. On the northern slope of the mountain, within the fenced reserve, lies the ruins of Pottenburg Castle. It is not recommended to use the hiking trails through the reserve from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, or from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM during the months of May to August. From the village of Berg, there is initially an asphalt road, followed by a forest road with a solid surface, suitable for strollers (however, I noticed a sign prohibiting cyclists on this road, and the same signs are also present in the reserve).
