Babia hora (in Polish Babia Góra) is the highest peak of the Beskids and the entire Outer Western Carpathians, standing at 1724 m above sea level. It is located on the border between Poland and Slovakia in the Orava and Żywiec Beskids region. With a prominence of 1074 m, it is the second most prominent mountain in Poland (after Sněžka) and the third most prominent mountain in Slovakia (after Gerlach and Ďumbier).

Babia hora, along with Kriváň in the High Tatras and Kráľova hoľa in the Low Tatras, is considered a national mountain of Slovakia. This is despite the fact that the mountain lies on the state border and is proudly claimed by Poles, as evidenced by a monument dedicated to Pope John Paul II, who regularly visited this peak in his youth. It is also the second highest of the Crown of Polish Mountains.

At the foot of the mountain on the Polish side, there are remnants of the Hut on Babia hora.
