Plešivec is part of challenges: Geological Crown of the Czech Republic, Nejhory Brd a Hřebenů, The Highest Mountains of Central Bohemia, Ultrakopce
The third most prominent mountain of the Brdy Highlands. It belongs to the Třemošenská Highlands (Brdy), not to the Hřebeny, as is often stated. At the summit, there are remnants of an extensive fortified settlement from the Late Bronze Age. South of the summit, hard quartzite bedrock emerges in the form of the Čertova kazatelna rock viewpoint, offering one of the most beautiful views in the entire Brdy region and a vast sea of stones below the pulpit.
