Table mountain, inspiration for the book The Lost World by Arthur Conan Doyle (1912). The main peak, Maverick Rock, is located in the southern part of the plateau in Venezuela, about 6 km south-southwest of the tripoint of Venezuela, Brazil, and Guyana. The highest point of Guyana and the Brazilian state of Roraima reaches an elevation of 2750 m and is located about 1 km from the tripoint.
