The highest mountain in Mallorca. The summit is occupied by a military base, and the highest accessible point is about 50 meters below the summit, although the fence around the military facilities is reportedly much higher and closer to the peak.
The highest easily accessible mountain in Mallorca is (besides the adjacent peaks of Puig Major) Puig de Massanella 5 km to the east.
