The slopes of the hill are covered with vast forest, and a transmitter has been built at the summit. On the southern slope of Hůrka, we find several scattered private cottages. Fields stretch from the foot of the hill. A marked cycling route named the Amber Trail runs along the eastern foot and through the settlement of Hůrka.
