Plesná, also known as Debrník, in German Lackenberg. A flat peak located 5 km west of Prášily, on the border with Germany. It is a wide structural ridge made of paragneiss and granodiorite. The slopes and the summit plateau are scattered with debris. Below the northeastern wall lies Lake Laka (1085 m above sea level), the shallowest of the Šumava lakes. Previously covered with spruce forest, more or less damaged by wind and bark beetles, extensive summit areas have been deforested since the Kyrill hurricane. (tisicovky.cz)
The summit is accessible via the border trail, except for the period from January 1 to July 14, when the trail from the Bavarian Forest National Park side is closed to protect the capercaillie and other wildlife. The highest point of the very flat summit is located in a quiet area, about 50 meters from the border - it is not necessary to go there.
