The Malá Fatra peak Hoblík rises above the village of Višňové with its distinctive conical shape and beautiful rock formations adorning its southeastern side. The peak is a nice hiking destination. It features numerous interesting rock formations and several smaller caves that are not accessible to the public, such as Hoblíková and Višňovská caves. According to orally transmitted tradition, there is also another, yet undiscovered cave of enormous size beneath the peak, which connects the villages of Višňové and Stráňavy, and part of which is passable even with a horse-drawn carriage. From the summit areas of Hoblík, there are nice views of Minčol, Valientov diel, the quarries of Polom peak, and into Višňovská valley. Several trails lead to Hoblík from both the Višňovská and Stráňavská sides, but none have official hiking markings. One of the two most well-known trails starts at the large parking lot at the end of the village of Višňové, a short distance from the entrance to the cave. The second path branches off after about 400 meters from the forest road passing through Višňovská valley. The trails to Hoblík are steep in places. They often branch and offer a variety of ascent options. In some areas, they also lead over rocky sections, requiring hikers to occasionally use their hands. Their ascent is more challenging. On the slopes of Hoblík, there is also a training via ferrata - a route secured with footholds, ropes, and other aids.
