As you enter the southern part of the Durmitor mountain range and drive along the Žabljak-Virak-Trsa road, you will notice a beautiful peak with its stunning and impressive southeast face above the Sedlo pass (1907 m) on the right side. This is Uvita Greda (2199 m). This peak, along with the narrow pass called Uvito Zdrijelo located beneath it, represents a natural gateway between southern Durmitor and the inner massif of Durmitor. Uvita Greda is situated opposite its neighbor Sedlena Greda (2227 m), while between them lies the Sedlo pass, from which the Sedlo-Trsa trail leads towards the summit of Prutas (2393 m) and further to Trsa.

Below Uvita Greda, Uvito Zdrijelo provides a southern access route to Bobotov Kuk (2523 m), the highest peak of the Durmitor range. By using the Uvito Zdrijelo pass, you can also reach the beautiful Trojni Prevoj pass (2245 m) and many surrounding peaks, such as Bandijerna and Zupci. More specifically, Uvito Zdrijelo is part of the Uvita Greda ridge connecting southern Durmitor with central Durmitor.

Cable car: There is no cable car to this peak.

Accessibility: A paid via ferrata leads to the summit. The price in 2019 was 40 Euro per person!
