The western side of the summit area is formed by a plateau with a preserved peak, which has been designated as a protected small-scale area of the Muránska planina National Park since 1980 under the name Tŕstie Nature Reserve.
Access:
The easiest access is from Tisovec along the yellow trail to the Tŕstie crossroads (about 5.5 km). From there, it's less than a kilometer along the red trail, which circles the summit plateau from the northwest. The summit itself is located about 200 meters from the marked path, beyond the boundaries of the national park and the nature reserve, and is therefore accessible without restrictions.
