Petřín with its lookout tower, a scaled-down replica of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, is an integral part of Prague's skyline. The area is also home to other interesting sites, such as a mirror maze, an observatory, a funicular station, a telecommunications transmitter, and St. Lawrence Church. Although it is the most famous "peak" in Prague, it is not a peak at all - it is a so-called plateau, a flat termination of the eastern spur of the White Mountain, which sharply breaks and descends towards the Vltava River.
