The summit is accessible via a detour from the green-marked hiking trail from Neštěd to Neštěmice, which passes through Blansko Castle, making for a recommended three-hour walk. The peak is the eastern landmark of the city of Ústí nad Labem, unique in its shape resembling a collapsed volcano. It is also a nature reserve, home to an oak-hornbeam forest and other protected fauna and flora. Peregrine falcons nest on the steep slopes, so please pay attention to warnings and follow recommendations if you are here during the nesting season. The summit offers stunning views spanning 270 degrees from Buková hora, through Ústí nad Labem, to Blansko. You can see the winding Elbe River cutting through the České středohoří. The Czech flag proudly flies at the top.
