Vrchol Cottaer Spitzberg was added here by Martin Matějka.

A volcanic tephrite cone formed by volcanic intrusion into sandstone layers. The tephrite solidified into grey to black rock columns that were previously mined. The top part has been preserved thanks to a triangulation tower from 1865. Nice views towards the Ore Mountains and the Czech part of the Děčín Uplands.
