Monínec is a small village in the Příbram district, known primarily for its modern ski resort with artificial snowmaking and a bike park. The area offers ski slopes, a cable car, and a rope park, and boasts a unique wooden Old Post Office from Sněžka. The history of Monínec dates back to 1611, and its name is derived from the personal name Mona. Today, Monínec is part of the municipality of Sedlec-Prčice.
