The peak is part of the Kaitersberg ridge and consists of a rocky outcrop on which you will find a robust cross at the summit. Most of the higher peaks of the ridge, which you will find to the west, are adorned with crosses, less often towers or chapels. The rocky cliff in front of you opens up views into the Zellertal valley, which is heavily cultivated in summer. The contrast of colorful fields with the dark Bavarian Forest covering the Šumava mountains is a natural work of art. The peak is the first - or last - on the route of the twelve thousanders and at 999 m above sea level, it is a little cherry on top.
