Biesak (381 m a.s.l.) is the highest peak of the Posłowice Mountains. The Posłowice Mountains stretch from the Bobrza Valley in the west to the Dymińskie Mountains in the east. North of Biesak, below Kamienna, lies the Biesak-Białogon Nature Reserve. The reserve includes a former quarry and the surrounding forest area of 13.13 hectares. The quarry is partially flooded (Jeziorko Kamionka), which adds to its picturesque value. The summit of Biesak is traversed by the blue hiking trail of Edmund Padechowicz from Łagów to Chęciny. At the foot of the hill, a yellow hiking trail runs around Kielce and there are additional cycling paths.
