A prominent massif about 20 km southwest of San Marino, the first significant rise of the Apennines on the way from the sea. A vast plateau with several peaks. It slopes gently to the north, forming a sort of basin, while on all other sides it drops steeply by 600-700 m. The summit is easily accessible, with two transmitters near the highest point. Beautiful views.
