A vast forested basalt massif with scree forests on the eastern slopes. The highest peak of the Teplice Highlands. Above the cliffs - on a small plateau, a campsite of mammoth hunters was uncovered (one of the most significant in Bohemia), dating back 25,000 years. (Upper Paleolithic Gravettian culture - the same as the world-famous Moravian Věstonice!) - Finds included bones of mammoths, reindeer, arctic foxes, and also workshops for making stone tools. (Including an extensive flint industry.) A run is also organized to the summit Rovný, starting in nearby Koštov.
