The basalt peak Strážiště is commonly referred to as Ant Hill, and rightly so! It is home to a unique colony of forest ants of the genus Formica (counted 220 sometimes giant nests). On the southern slope of the hill lies a rocky scree. The summit, lacking established climbing routes (a very steep ascent in a direct line), has a total of three viewpoints, allowing for almost a panoramic view.
