The fourth highest mountain in the Caucasus after Elbrus, Dychtau, and Shkhara. All routes to the summit are difficult climbing ascents of grade 4B and higher on the Russian scale. It is connected to the nearby Dychtau by an exposed ridge, which was traversed by a Czechoslovak expedition in 1975.
