A prominent mountain above Mladá Boleslav. The slightly lower neighboring peak is called Dědek :) The summit is formed by eroded Tertiary volcanic chimneys made of basalt (olivine nephyrite) and chimney breccias that break through the surrounding Upper Cretaceous claystones. Both peaks are disrupted by numerous cracks and old mining activities. In the middle of the volcanic body, there is a gorge about 100 m long and only a meter wide in some places.
