A prominent peak not far beyond the state border. From the Czech side, access is not entirely straightforward, as one must sometimes search for the path. From Austria, it is also accessible by bike. The summit is located directly beneath one of the wind turbines. The view is mainly towards the Czech Republic and is very nice, featuring a panorama from Smrčina to Kleť, and partially including the Slepičí and Novohradské mountains.
About 200 meters southwest of the summit stands the niche chapel Rotes Marterl, after which we named this previously unnamed mountain.
