The peak is also known as "Edelvays" because the alpine edelweiss grows in the area. It is located near the Beklemeto (Troyan) pass. At the summit, there is the "Arch of Freedom" built in 1978 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Bulgaria's liberation in the Russo-Turkish War.
