The summit is accessible via the red hiking trail from the free parking lot at the Forsthaus Wartenfels lodge. There are steel cables along the way for support, but it is not a via ferrata. You can also visit the ruins of Burgruine Wartenfels along the route. The view from the top is stunning, not only of Fuschlsee.
