Mount Sahara is located on the Kozlov Ridge of the Českotřebov Highlands, which is part of the geomorphological unit of the Svitavy Hills. It can be found approximately 10 km southeast of Polička near the village of Stašov in the Svitavy District of the Pardubice Region.
