The peak above the village of Krásnohorské Podhradie, topped by the Krásna Hôrka castle, is located in the southwestern part of the Volovské vrchy Pipítka subrange. After the castle fire in 2012, reconstruction is still ongoing, so it is only accessible from the south via an unmarked trail leading to the castle hill from the village.

From the viewpoint at the castle entrance, there are beautiful views of the Rožňava basin, the plateaus of the Slovak Karst, and part of the Volovské vrchy.
