The local name Na Hradišťatech refers to the area's past. The oldest settlement is evidenced by finds from the late and final Stone Age, the Bronze Age, and the early Iron Age (around 800–400 BC), as well as from the period of the early medieval fort, which likely emerged at the end of the 8th century and disappeared at the turn of the 9th and 10th centuries.
The height of the hill is 313.7 m above sea level according to the basic map of the Czech Republic, and according to elevation analysis, it is even 314.2 m above sea level.
