The highest mountain of the Blanský les region in the Šumava foothills. At the summit stands the oldest Czech stone lookout tower, Josefova věž (built in 1825), and Tereziina chata with a restaurant. Just below the summit is an observatory that is among the world's top in the field of asteroid research.
