A prominent Šumava mountain. Its southern slopes plunge into the deep valley of the Křemelná River, rising 350–450 meters above it. At the summit stands a memorial to E.T. Seton, the founder of the woodcraft movement and author of the book Two Little Savages and many others. The northern peak features the Sněžné jámy, a massive belt of gold-bearing quartz.
