A mound-like grassy hill composed of angular moraine gravel, formed during the last Ice Age. The name is derived from the former owners of the land, a family of bakers. Rare biotopes here include Alpine gentian, silver thistle, and a large number of pasque flowers. From the circular viewpoint, the panorama of the Bavarian foothills stands out to the south, and to the northwest, the Andechs Monastery with its pilgrimage church can be seen. (The second largest pilgrimage site in Bavaria.)
