A prominent hill 3 km southwest of Horní Vltavice. The highest peak of the Stráženské plains. It is connected to the surrounding thousand-meter peaks by deep saddles (969 m a.s.l. to the west and 971 m a.s.l. to the southeast). The former Golden Path runs along the southeastern slope, with meadows and pastures of the former settlement of Žlíbky. From the south, a path leads almost to the summit. Otherwise, Žlíbský vrch is covered with a spruce forest mixed with beech. On the summit plateau, there is a transmitter and a geodetic point. /tisicovky.cz/
The summit does not offer views, but if you dare to climb over the fence and ascend the transmitter, you will experience incredible views... A large part of Šumava and to the south, the Alps.
