The peak is located above the center of the town of Postojna and serves as a suburban park. It is interwoven with paths that are heavily used. At its summit once stood a castle, of which only a few walls scattered across the top remain today, with the best-preserved ones being at the very top. The castle burned down in 1679, was not rebuilt, and the material from it was gradually used for the construction of the town. On the way to the summit (or from the summit - depending on the routes you choose), it is possible to visit two glass observation platforms with views of the town. The first is at the site of a World War I observation post, while the second features a flagpole with the national flag, so you can orient yourself by it. At the top, there are still remnants of a concrete bunker - probably again an observation post, but likely from the period of World War II.
