A prominent peak on the German side of Šumava, about 3 km from the Czech border. Literally translated as Big Falcon Stone in Czech. The summit rock is adorned with a cross, whose glass core is a testament to the local glassmaking tradition. It offers a semicircular view into the valley of Řezná, as well as views of Roklan and Velký Javor. Near the summit is the Falkenstein Schutzhaus, which offers refreshments and accommodation.
