The highest peak of the Eastern Bavarian Forest. The peak marked on the maps with a cross is not the highest point, although the impressive cross would suggest otherwise. The highest point is a smaller rock about 100 meters to the south - nice, mossy, but in a mature forest. The genius loci is stronger at the false summit with a rock in the middle of a small clearing, a tall cross, a view, and wooden benches.
