Uhorská is part of challenge: Highest Peaks of the Moravian-Silesian Beskids

Uhorská is a mountain located in Slovakia, approximately 800 m from the border in the Kysuce Protected Landscape Area in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids. It is the only peak over 1000 meters in this mountain range. The summit of Uhorská extends south from the border ridge between Malý and Velký Polom. There are no marked hiking trails leading directly to the summit. Just below the peak, a green hiking trail passes by approximately 100 meters away. The green trail leads north to a blue trail at the Uhorská junction at an elevation of 1000 m above sea level, where the blue trail continues across the border to a red trail at the Čuboňov junction. To the south, the green trail leads to the village of Vrchpredmier to the Klokočov-Vrchpredmier junction, covering a distance of nearly 5 kilometers.
Mapy.cz states the height as 1029 m, but this is only the height of a secondary peak; the actual height is 1032 m, which can also be read from the contour lines.
