Huťská hora is a significant peak, marking the northern edge of the vast Kvildské plains. It drops steeply to the Losenice valley to the north, with an elevation difference of over 600m. At the summit, there is a geodetic point and a transmitter, easily accessible via an asphalt road. The nearby meadows at the former village of Zhůří offer a beautiful view of Šumava.
