The highest mountain of the Sesvenna range in the Swiss canton of Graubünden, between the valleys of Val S-charl, Schliniger Tal, and Val d'Avigna, about 13 km southeast of the village of Scuol. The Vadret de Sesvenna glacier lies on the northeastern slopes. The Swiss-Italian state border runs just below the summit.
