Campsite is the name of the elevation (named by Petr Randus, organizer of winter camping since 1982 - 21st edition), where winter camping took place since 1962 during the Klíč Event (only a few tents could fit on the summit), back then it was said that camping was "in the saddle". Following the directive of the CHKO Lužické hory management, the site was abandoned for nature protection reasons after 1981, although official winter camping occasionally returned here for certain anniversaries. Nevertheless, an "illegal" group camped without CHKO permission for many more years. Around 2020, the area was "devastated" by loggers, and after the logs were removed, the place became nearly impassable, let alone acceptable for potential camping trekkers and tourists. On the other hand, the deforestation offers passing hikers a nice view of Mount Klíč.
