Storžič, at an elevation of 2132 meters, rises 1600 meters above the surrounding valley, creating an impressive backdrop for the city of Kranj and the Ljubljana Basin. The rocky summit is composed of limestone and features an elongated ridge, interspersed with clearings and dwarf pine meadows. The summit offers excellent panoramic views. It is accessible to hikers without the need for climbing gear.
